For the third consecutive year, the Crac Occitanie and Mécènes du Sud Montpellier-Sète-Béziers are teaming up for an energetic and intensive hybrid event through several projects: exhibitions, workshops, screenings, concerts, performances…
Canal Royal was born in the wake of the first lockdown in 2020, and its purpose is to assist artists by supporting new productions or the circulation of a recent work.
Canal Royal promotes the art scene in the Occitanie region: all of the invited artists have a strong link to this territory, either as a home or as a direct inspiration for their work.
The title of this summer program refers to the city of Sète’s main canal, which runs alongside the Crac Occitanie.
