Romain Ruiz-Pacouret offers a chance to imagine and conceive utopias in an ideal landscape. Participants are first guided to create a landscape model, which will then serve as scenery in which to place a volume/sculpture/architecture.

Romain Ruiz-Pacouret has been living and working in Sète since 2021. His mediums of choice are painting and drawing, both involving singular approaches to landscape. In his pictorial practice, he gives a lot of room to site-specific mural interventions.
This is combined with autonomous drawings, like two universes arranged one over the other. This process enables him to examine conditions of visibility, to explore a place’s specificities and architecture. He also creates openings, windows onto another world, a landscape that has been forgotten or would like to exist. His work has been exhibited in numerous art spaces in France and abroad.
