The sound project "Escotar les òbras" - Parlem! at the Crac Occitanie
Escotar les òbras (Listening to the Works) is a sound project of Éducation artistique et culturelle created by schoolchildren and students.
From 10 February until the end of Myriam Mihindou’s exhibition Praesentia on 4 May 2025. Scan the Parlem! QR code at the Crac Occitanie reception to access audio tracks created by schoolchildren and students of the city of Sète! With the help of their Occitan teacher, the children created sound poems in Occitan, to punctuate the exhibition journey.
Exhibition spaces.
For everyone.
Listen to Occitan at the art centre: this is possible during the event Parlem! la quinzaine des langues occitane et catalane en Occitanie.
A bilingual tour and an artistic and cultural education project enable Occitan speakers, and anyone curious about the area’s cultures, to explore works of art in Occitan.
PARLEM ! Catalan et Occitan: This is an event offered by the Occitanie region, which doesn’t hold its tongues! Every year in February, Catalan and Occitan initiations, readings, lectures, displays, inductions and other initiatives (particularly in conjunction with Les Maisons de Ma Région) offer the chance to listen and see, speak and exhibit, learn and share our languages, so they are more alive in everyday life. The 2025 edition takes place from 10 to 23 February throughout Occitanie Region.
