Festival De l’impertinence

[fr]De l’impertinence est un évènement à la forme hybride, à la fois résidence de recherche artistique et rendez-vous de danse à Sète. Le laboratoire convie chaque année un collectif d’artistes afin qu’iels créent des performances au sein des lieux partenaires (souvent non dédiés à l’art vivant) de la ville de Sète.

Chaque artiste est également invité·e à présenter un travail en cours de création, l’idée étant d’ouvrir des temps de recherches au public tout en valorisant des travaux en cours d’écriture et impertinents.

  Chris Fargeot et Ulysse Zangs
  Avec ce solo, Chris Fargeot explore les différents moteurs qui déclenchent le
  mouvement. Visant une fluidité sans fin, où les empreintes du corps humain se
  dissolvent, cherchant à effacer les articulations et l’apparence d’un corps façonné, l’interprète se lance dans un va-et-vient chaotique entre décision et lâcher-prise.

  En ouverture de cette série de rendez-vous, et à la suite de la présentation de 3h33 in my room (through the window) de Chris Fargeot et Ulysse Zangs, De l’Impertinence présente sur le parvis du Crac Occitanie une nouvelle performance prenant appui sur les formes, les thèmes, le parcours de l’exposition de Gianni Pettena.
  Cette interprétation chorégraphique sera suivie d’un moment convivial avec
  un buffet performatif créé par Mathilde Barillec et Clélie De Witasse.

Photos : David Le Borgne.[en]De l’impertinence is a hybrid event, both an artistic research residency and a dance gathering in Sète. Every year the laboratory assembles a group of artists to create performances within partner sites in Sète (many of them not dedicated to the performing arts).

Each artist is also invited to present a work in progress, the idea being to open their research work to the public, while showing “impertinent” works in the making.

  Chris Fargeot and Ulysse Zangs
  With this solo performance, Chris Fargeot explores the different driving forces that trigger movement. Aiming at endless fluidity, in which the imprints of the human body dissolve, and seeking to erase the joints and the appearance of a shaped body, the performer throws herself into a chaotic to-and-fro between decision and letting go.

  Collectif De l’impertinence»
  Opening this series of gatherings – following the presentation of 3h33 in my room (through the window) by Chris Fargeot and Ulysse Zangs – De l’Impertinence presents a new performance on the Crac Occitanie forecourt, based on the forms, themes and experience of Gianni Pettena’s exhibition.

This choreographic interpretation will be followed by a social event featuring a performative buffet created by Mathilde Barillec and Clélie De Witasse.
