From 7 to 29 November

For nearly three years, artists of the association Tisseuses de liens – Maïa Amiel, Delphine Jalabert, Elena Salah, Claire Schneider, Mathilde Beck – have been crisscrossing Frontignan la Peyrade accompanied by the city’s department for culture, to make flags with locals through associations, the EHPAD, schools, colleges, the mediatheque, and local institutions. In numerous textile workshops (such as embroidery, sewing, and weaving), locals created as many flags as there are ways of experiencing one’s city. These collective works are being exhibited on the streets of the city of Frontignan from 3 October to 15 November 2026.

At the Crac, a wide selection of the original textile compositions is presented in this end-of-project exhibition.
This presentation echoes and extends the 2023 project Des drapeaux pour mon quartier that took place in the Île de Thau district, with local associations, the Médiathèque André Malraux, and the Crac in Sète.

Collaborative art, or when artists meet citizens, create work, produce new imaginaries, reactivate the commons, awaken utopia…

A flag is a strong symbol: a flag of our country or countries, our commitments, our football club… This project is an invitation to create something in common, to build together, to dream up flags based on shared values, to invent happy forms of coexistence in our districts, our cities—ways of living together enriched by our singularities.

In Frontignan la Peyrade

From 3 to 24 October: exhibition of the flags at the Musée municipal and at the Salle Jean-Claude-Izzo (2 and 4^bis rue Député Lucien-Salette in Frontignan).
Open from from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 12a.m. et from 2 to 6p.m., free entrance.
From 3 October to 15 November : exhibition of the flags in the streets of Frontignan.
Saturday 10 October:
- At 11a.m.: the opening of the exhibitions of the original flags at the Salle Izzo and at the Musée de Frontignan
- At 1p.m.: a shared meal (everyone brings a dish to share) at the Espace de vie sociale Albert Calmette (7 Impasse des Merles)
At 2.30p.m.: departure from the Espace de vie sociale Albert Calmette of a tour of Frontignan, choreographed by Paméla B and set to music by Laurent B
At 4p.m. : a friendly end to the event featuring a mini-concert and snacks prepared by the Lycée Maurice Clavel (place Jean-Jaurès).

In Sète at the Crac Occitanie during the End-of-project exhibition:

Friday 6 November at 6p.m. : Opening of the exhibition of the original flags.
Wednesday 18 November at 2p.m.: Performance Tisser nos corps by Pamela B
with the people of the Foyer de Vie Jean Piaget in Frontignan and of the Ehpad in Vic-la-Gardiole.

Wednesday 28 et Thursday 29 October from 2p.m. to 4p.m., Textile Workshops "My holidays with the artists Maïa Amiel and Claire Schneider" (for families, children ages +7).
