The action art workshop invites participants to think of the body as a living sculpture!
By paying attention to the presence of the body, to displacement in space, and to the distance that separates us from one another, Pascale Ciapp proposes to invent actions that extend the exhibitions.
Participants appropriate the works through gestures, with the help of objects brought by Pascale Ciapp that resonate with the exhibited works. Photographs and videos preserve traces of these micro-gestures and these manipulations.
In connection with the exhibitions, participants will be led to perceive the body in the diversity of its representations, by drawing shapes, by using words, fragments, gestures…

Pascale Ciapp, an action-art artist, has been exploring the art of action since the mid-1990s, after having experimented with photography.
She regularly intervenes in France and abroad, at renowned institutions, meetings and festivals, as well as in alternative spaces.
