Curator: Marie Cozette
Press preview and opening : 9 October 2026.
The exhibition For Kheira, by Nesrine Salem follows the artist’s residency at the Villa Medici in Rome in late 2025.
Through writing, poetry, video, performance, and installation, Nesrine Salem is developing a new exhibition for the Crac Occitanie informed by her research into mourning practices, funeral spaces, and intergenerational memories.
Nesrine Salem works at the intersection of two cultures, French and Algerian, while situating her voice and writing between three
languages—English, French, and Arabic—that intertwine and strengthen each other in her life and works.
