The Demi Festival at the art centre

Concert, Performance, Rencontre

Driven by shared values – experimentation, creativity, hospitality, sharing, and a love of socially engaged artforms – the Demi Festival and the Crac Occitanie are teaming up this summer for a second consecutive year.

At the Crac, a series of events will resonate with the Demi Festival’s incredible programme of concerts, at Théâtre de la Mer and in the city of Sète. Come and discover a laboratory that shows hip hop music in the making, and see live painting by graffiti artists invited by the Demi Festival. You can also participate in an open mic event!

  • Wednesday 7 August from 2pm to 6pm
Live painting and DJ set, on the Crac forecourt and on Rue Richelieu

Graffiti artists paint live, creating compositions that will be exhibited at Théâtre de la Mer during the Demi Festival.
  • Thursday 8 August
    Groups: 10am-12pm (reservation required: 04 67 74 94 37)
    Everyone: 2pm-6pm.
    Interactive rap performance by Petitcopek

In a room at the Crac, Petitcopek will share a process that is usually hidden: the creation of a hip-hop track.
Live in front of an audience, he conducts his sound research and composes a rap text. The artist invites us to enter an ephemeral creative laboratory, to engage with him and find how a music track is made, and listen to the pure sound of today!
  • Saturday 10 August
    from 2pm to 6pm.
    Open Mic

On the Crac forecourt, an open mike is being set up for everyone’s hip hop expression!
