Head in the Clouds - Holiday workshop by Manon Cappato and Carlos Carreras

This workshop on gestural language and visual theatre is offered by protean artist Manon Cappato and sign-singer Carlos Carreras.

How can your body describe air or water, without uttering a single word? Could it even express your scatter-brained side, or your bubbly personality?

During this workshop, mime games, signs and gestures enable hearing, hard-of-hearing and Deaf people to explore a common poetic language beyond orality.

The two artists, who are familiar with gestural language and French Sign Language, invite you to decompartmentalise artistic practices and cross barriers between communities.
