Les sens du regard - visite sensorielle à deux voix

[fr]Le Crac propose aux personnes aveugles ou malvoyantes un parcours de visite sensoriel à deux voix : celle d’un·e médiateur·ice et celle de Valérie Castan, audiodescriptrice et artiste chorégraphe.

L’accès aux œuvres se fait dans une transmission multiple : la description
sensible des œuvres et leur interprétation, le toucher des matériaux de l’exposition et le jeu des corps dans l’espace.

The Crac offers blind and partially sighted people a sensory tour with two voices : that of the mediator and that of Valérie Castan, who is an audio describer and choreographic artist.

The works are made accessible through a multifarious transmission : interpretation and sensory description of the works, feeling the exhibition materials, and the play of bodies in the space.

This event is part of the Crac’s mission to foster accessibility for all.

Valérie Castan is a choreographic artist. For a decade she has been providing audio description for choreographic performances, theatre, and exhibitions in art centres.
She also works in art and architecture schools, and teaches dance courses in secondary and post-secondary schools.
